I'm passionate about creating beautiful things, encouraging women, and helping women embrace who God created them to be through thoughtful design, meaningful encouragement, and faith-filled living.

I've loved making things for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I was always dreaming up outfits, sewing little accessories, and creating something new with my hands. That love for creating has stayed with me all these years.

When my husband and I were newly married, money was tight. One Christmas, I pulled out my sewing machine, gathered up some scrap fabric, and made a few purses as gifts for family and friends. I had no idea those simple gifts would turn into something so much bigger. Before long, people started asking if they could buy one too. That summer, I started Rebekah Scott Designs, and I've been sewing ever since.

One of my favorite parts of RSD is giving women the opportunity to design something that's uniquely theirs. You get to choose the fabrics, linings, and little details that make your purse or accessory feel personal. Every custom order tells a story. I often catch myself looking at a design and thinking, "This says something about her." I absolutely love that.

To me, custom has never been about having more choices. It's about celebrating who you are. It's about creating something that reflects your story and reminds you that you were made with intention. That's why I trademarked the phrase "Own Who You Are." It's more than a tagline. It's something I truly believe. Every woman deserves to feel seen, known, and valued.

A few years later, I launched 1948 Leather as a way to honor my dad and the legacy he left behind. Every leather piece is designed to be timeless, practical, and made to last. I love that these products carry stories of hard work, simplicity, and purpose from one generation to the next.

I'm also a wife and a mama to four amazing kiddos. Life is full, sometimes messy, and often louder than I expect. Between raising a family and running businesses, I've learned that we all need encouragement along the way. That's what inspired me to start The Encourager Podcast. It's a place where I share practical systems, biblical encouragement, and grace-filled tools to help women find more peace and confidence in everyday life.

More than anything, my faith is the foundation of everything I do. I truly believe God gave each of us unique gifts, not just for ourselves, but to serve others. One of my favorite verses is 1 Peter 4:10:

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

Whether I'm sewing a purse, designing a leather bag, recording a podcast, or simply sharing encouragement, my prayer is always the same. I hope what I create helps you feel loved, encouraged, and reminded that your story matters.
